Leiza Dolghih presents at the Dallas Bar Association

Leiza presented an update on the status of non-compete agreements’ enforcement in Texas in 2026 to the Intellectual Property Section of the Dallas Bar Association. With over 150 lawyers in attendance, Leiza reviewed the relevant updates to the non-compete statute that changed the law for those in the healthcare industry, as well as the important court opinions affecting non-compete agreements’ enforcement in the last 12 months.

Leiza Dolghih serves as a panelist at the 22nd Symposium on Emerging Issues in Intellectual Property on February 20 at 9:00 a.m. at the Intellectual Property Symposium at SMU Law School. She will speak on “Federalizing Trade Secret Law: Ten Years After the Defend Trade Secrets Act of 2016.” Drawing on more than a decade of trade secret litigation experience — including her prior role as Co-Chair of the Trade Secrets and Non-Compete Agreements Section at the nation’s fifth-largest law firm — Leiza will share practical, real-world insights from the field.
